| The JDC-5 is designed to work with Microsoft Windows
XP, 98se, 2000, Me and 2003 OS and requires drivers to access the images on your
camera.
How to connect your JDC-5

Make sure camera is NOT connected to your PC.

Turn on your computer or reboot.(this ensures consistent starting point)

Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive or download drivers from the link
below.

The setup program will run automatically or click Setup.exe from the
location you downloaded the drivers.

Follow instructions of the setup wizard.

Restart your computer.

Connect your camera to the PC using USB 1.1 cable.

The "Found New Hardware" window will open

Double click the "MyDSC2" shortcut in your "All Programs" menu and follow
directions.
If your computer needs drivers for your JDC-5
...
Drivers are needed to use your
JDC-5 camera as a PC camera. It is important to follow the installation
procedure above properly for your camera to function correctly as a pc camera.
If you have already tried to install your div ice and was unsuccessful you must
remove all drivers for the camera from the "Add Remove Programs" list before
following the instructions below.

to the PC using USB 1.1 cable.

When the found new
hardware window opens install drivers automatically.

hardware window may open up more than once. If so then click install drivers
automatically for each time it opens up.

Double click the "PCCam"
shortcut in your "All Programs" menu and follow directions.
If this does does not work ...

Check to make sure the USB port is working properly in device manager.

Make sure your computer is running a fully updated version of supported
Microsoft Windows platform. Check computer properties for version of OS.

Try
having the camera turned on before connecting it to your computer.
